Motor yacht, 30 metres
Solace
A displacement yacht built for comfort rather than speed, with a chef who came from a two-star kitchen and a stern that opens into a beach club at anchor.

Solace is a 30-metre displacement yacht with a steel hull and a deep keel, which means she moves slowly and sits still, and both matter more than speed to most families. Her five crew include a chef who ran a two-star kitchen before going to sea and a stewardess who remembers how everyone takes their coffee by the second morning.
The stern folds down into a beach club a metre above the water, and the aft deck above it seats eight for dinner under the stars. Her range makes Corsica and northern Sardinia a natural week from Antibes.
