Private travel
Travel
Journeys planned by people who have made them: the flights, the jet when it makes sense, the hotels that are as good as their photographs, the guides, the transfers that are timed to the minute, and a plan that holds when the weather does not.
Travel
We plan travel the way a good captain plans a passage: backwards from what must not go wrong. A family with small children flying to the Maldives needs to land in Malé before three because the seaplanes stop at dusk. A couple going to St Barths for New Year needs the jet into St Maarten timed to the last hop across. A week in Greece in August needs a captain who has met the meltemi before.
Then we book it. Scheduled first class or a private jet, whichever the arithmetic and the schedule favour, and we show you the arithmetic. Hotels we have stayed in, not read about. Guides we have walked with. Drivers whose names we know. And one document, before you leave, with every time, name and number in it.
Worth knowing
What we do
Travel, in six parts
Private aviation
The right aircraft for the sector, from a turboprop to a long-range jet, at a price we explain, with empty legs when they suit.
Scheduled first class
When the schedule is good and the arithmetic is clear, the best seats on the best flights, with the lounge, the fast track and the car at the steps.
Hotels and residences
Suites and private residences at the hotels we know, with the upgrades and the amenities that come from a relationship.
Itineraries
A day-by-day plan built around the family on it, with guides, tables and boats already held, and room to change it.
Transfers and helicopters
From the aircraft to the house without a wait, by car, helicopter or boat, every leg timed against the one before.
On the ground
A number that answers when the flight is cancelled, the villa is cold or the child is unwell, and fixes it.

- 03BookWe contract and pay on your behalf and send one travel document with everything in it.
- 04TravelThe desk tracks every flight and handover and calls the driver before you have landed.
Where
Sixteen destinations, the honest month for each
Côte d’Azur
Monaco & Cap Ferrat
Two square kilometres that run on precision. The best base on the coast for a yacht, a race weekend or a season of dinners, with Cap Ferrat next door for the quiet.
Var
Saint-Tropez
A fishing village with a harbour full of the wrong boats and the best beach in France ten minutes south. Loud in August, perfect in June and September.
Côte d’Azur
Cannes & Cap d’Antibes
Cannes for the Croisette, the festivals and the Îles de Lérins; Antibes for the cape, the old town and the biggest yacht harbour in Europe. Ten minutes apart, entirely different.
Liguria
Portofino & the Ligurian coast
A harbour the size of a courtyard, houses in six shades of ochre, and a national park of pine and cliff behind it. Best by boat, best before July.
Campania
Amalfi Coast & Capri
Positano stacked on its cliff, Ravello in its gardens, Capri two miles offshore. The most dramatic coast in Europe, and one where a boat is not a luxury but the only sensible way to move.
Sardinia
Costa Smeralda, Sardinia
Fifty kilometres of pink granite, white sand and the clearest water in the Mediterranean, built for boats and for the two months a year when the whole of Milan arrives.
Lombardy
Lake Como
Villas with boathouses, gardens that go down to the water, mountains on both sides and Milan an hour away. The lake is for spring and autumn, when the light is soft and the ferries half empty.
Balearic Islands
Ibiza & Formentera
Ibiza for the north coast fincas, the sunsets and the clubs when you want them; Formentera for the water, which is the Caribbean forty minutes from the Balearics.
Questions people ask
When the route has no good scheduled service, when the party is six or more, when the time saved is worth more than the difference, or when the destination airport cannot take an airliner. The jet-or-first-class tool on this site shows the arithmetic for twelve common routes.
Usually the same rate with more attached: an upgrade, breakfast, a credit, early check-in, late check-out and a general manager who knows you are coming. On some houses we have rates that are not published.
Yes. The sixteen destinations are where we work most and know best. We have planned trips on every continent, through partner offices where we need them, and we tell you when we are on unfamiliar ground.
The desk sees it before you do and has rebooked, rerouted or chartered before you have reached the counter. That is most of what the emergency number does.
Yes, both. Unaccompanied minors need the airline’s procedure and a trusted person at each end, and we arrange both.
