Villa rental and management

Villas

A house where the second bedroom really does have the sea view, the chef has been briefed from your file, the boat is in the port below and someone has checked the water heater before you arrive. Sourced, contracted and run by people who have slept there.

Villas

A villa week goes wrong in the gap between the photographs and the house. The pool is heated but was not switched on. The seven bedrooms include two in the basement. The village is walkable if you are twenty-five. We close that gap by knowing the houses: we have stayed in them, or a partner we trust has, and we say what the photographs do not.

Then we run the week. The staff are briefed from your file, the fridge is stocked from it, the beds are made the way you like them, the boat is waiting in the port and the restaurant tables are held. If the air conditioning fails on a Sunday in August, the person who answers the phone knows the house and the engineer.

What we do

Villas, in six parts

Sourcing

The house that fits the brief, from our collection or from the far larger number we never publish, with the truth about each one.

Contracts and payments

The rental contract read, negotiated and explained, the deposit held correctly, the inventory checked.

Staffing

Chef, house manager, housekeepers, nanny, driver, boat crew, found, vetted and briefed from your file.

Provisioning

Cellar, kitchen and children’s snacks stocked before arrival, flowers in the rooms, the first dinner already planned.

The week

Tables, boats, beach beds, guides and transfers arranged around the house, with the desk on call throughout.

Seasons and ownership

A house for a whole season, or your own house managed while you are away: staff, maintenance, rentals if wanted.

Questions people ask

They are representative of the collection and subject to availability for your dates. The far larger number of houses we place are never published, at the owners’ request, and the villa matcher will show you the closest fits in the collection to start the conversation.

It depends on the house and we tell you exactly. Most staffed houses include housekeeping and a house manager; a chef, a driver, provisioning and the boat are usually extra and we quote them together so the total is clear before you decide.

A security deposit of typically ten to twenty per cent is held, by us or an escrow, and returned after the inventory check. We attend the check-in and check-out so there is no argument.

Yes. Seasonal lets of one to six months are common in Marbella, Mallorca, the Riviera and Dubai, and the price per week falls sharply. Tell us the season and we start early.

Yes. Staff, maintenance, contractors, opening and closing, and, if you want it, rental to vetted guests through the office when you are not there.
